From before I have worked with Fonnafly AS located out of Bergen/Voss (Norway). The work has given me an opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and experiense flying in the rough weather, around the mountains and the many powerlines in this part of Norway. I've been working with Fonnafly for just over 2 years, both as a pilot on the 44 and part time load master on the 350B3.

Work has been very varying: everything from areal work (some longline), photo/video shoots, search ops, airtaxi and tours. Landing is usually in the rough where no landing site is prepared. And in many instances there is no room to set down at all, allowing only for a brief skid touch for loading/unloading.

In february I converted my US instrument rating to JAA instrument rating with HeliBravo in Portugal. IR (ATPL exams are frozen until 2018).
